I'm picky about my toothbrushes....THIS is the ONE ONLY....

Great toothbrushes for the same price as the others I used to buy. I'm like Goldilocks, not too hard, not too soft, biodegradable tip-to-tip. It's hard to find a TRULY sustainable toothbrush but Gaia Guy has succeeded and done so beautifully. Please don't go anywhere---no one else is as committed as you. You are the only Gai I trust.

Great Toothbrush

I love how natural it feels, and how well it cleans my teeth. I realized plastic and nylon brushes were subtracting from my desire to eliminate extra toxins. I love that the Boar Bristle Bamboo Toothbrush is made from more natural elements. Thank you so much for making these!

The latest review also brought to light some new research which makes us even more thankful for launching a plastic-free toothbrush and to all of you for supporting it with your repeat purchases.

My new favorite toothbrush

I'm really happy with my toothbrushes! The wooden handles feel natural and earthy, and the boar hair bristles are gentle. I love that these are earth-friendly! It's a pity there isn't a reseller in Sweden or Europe as the long shipping time can be a bit inconvenient.. Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend these toothbrushes!

According to a recent study, thousands of microplastics are released from toothbrushes every time you brush. This means that we are ingesting microplastics through our toothbrushes. This is a concern because microplastics have been linked to a number of health problems.

The Truth About Bamboo Toothbrushes: Not All Are Created Equal

While many bamboo toothbrushes boast eco-friendly handles, they often fall short in the bristle department. Many still use nylon bristles, which break down into harmful microplastics just like regular plastic toothbrushes. The means most claims about being a biodegradable toothbrush aren't usually true.

Why Gaia Guy's Bamboo Toothbrushes are Different

Gaia Guy's bamboo toothbrushes are truly plastic-free. We use natural boar bristles instead of nylon, eliminating the issue of microplastic shedding altogether. Boar bristles are naturally soft and gentle on your gums, while also being incredibly effective at cleaning your teeth.

Toothbrushes release microplastics

Here is what a customer said about our bamboo and boar bristle toothbrushes:

Dentist says "Keep up the good work!"

I just got back from my 6 month dental checkup, and my dentist said "Excellent.... Keep up the good work!"

I've been using these boar bristle and bamboo toothbrushes for 7 months now, using a new one each month.

Not only keeping the plastics out of the production and waste streams, but a bit less microplastics going into my body now, with these toothbrushes.

"The release of microplastics from toothbrushes is confirmed as another source of microplastics in daily lives."
